Cheney: Possible Investigation By Obama “Outrageous Political Act”

Dick Cheney says that the Obama administration possibly pursuing an investigation of lawyers from the Bush administration regarding torture “an outrageous precedent to set,” calling it an “intensely partisan politicized look back” at the prior administration.
“I think it’s an outrageous political act that will do great damage long-term.”
He added that the fact that the Obama administration is even thinking about such an investigation after their “track record of defending the nation” for eight years “offends the out of me.”
He goes on to say that “advanced interrogation techniques” such as waterboarding were “absolutely essential.”
